Pilot-operated self-acting pressure regulating valve

Self-acting pressure regulating valve with a pilot-operated type (referred to as pressure valve) does not require external energy. It uses the energy of the controlled medium itself as the power source. A pilot is introduced to the pressure valve to control the position of the valve core, changing the flow rate of the medium through the valve, so that the pressure at the outlet (Type B) or inlet (Type K) of the valve remains constant. It is mainly used in occasions where the pressure before the valve is high (0.2-0.8 MPa) and the pressure after the valve is very low (0.5-100 kPa), such as 50 mmH2O (water column). It is only used in nitrogen venting devices and is used in conjunction with the nitrogen supply device. When used alone, please use a valve instead.

  • Product Description
  • Pilot-operated self-acting pressure regulating valve (pressure valve for short) does not require external energy; it uses the energy of the controlled medium itself as the power source. A pilot is introduced to the pressure valve to control the position of the valve core, changing the flow rate of the medium through the valve to maintain a constant pressure at the outlet (Type B) or inlet (Type K). It is mainly used where the upstream pressure is high (0.2-0.8 MPa) and the downstream pressure is very low (0.5-100 kPa), such as 50 mmH20 (water column). It is only used in nitrogen venting devices and is used in conjunction with the nitrogen supply device. When used alone, please use a valve instead.

    1. Gas pressure reduction

For example, upstream pressure 0.2-0.8 MPa (a pressure reducing valve should be added upstream if the pressure is higher than 0.8 MPa), downstream pressure 0.5-100 kPa.

    2. Nitrogen encapsulation device

On nitrogen supply and venting devices

    1. Pressure setting spring 2. Pilot actuator 3. Pilot valve 4. Needle valve 5. Main valve 6. Air filter pressure reducer

    Features:

    1. Pressure setting is achieved on the pilot, making it convenient, quick, labor-saving and time-saving, and allowing continuous setting during operation.

    2. The control accuracy is about twice as high as that of the self-acting type, so it is suitable for occasions with high control accuracy.

    3. For the same valve, the adjustment range is wider than that of the self-acting type.

    4. The response is particularly sensitive, and very small pressure (such as 50 mm water column pressure) or very small pressure changes can be detected.

    5. The pressure reduction ratio is particularly large. For example, upstream pressure 0.8 MPa, downstream pressure 50 mmH2O, the pressure difference ratio is 1600!
