Self-acting low-pressure regulating valve / Self-acting differential pressure regulating valve

A self-acting pressure differential valve is a device that automatically adjusts the pressure difference of one or two media without the need for external energy, maintaining a constant pressure difference. For example, in industrial furnace gas combustion systems, it is used to control the mixing ratio and flow rate of two fuels (fuel A and fuel B) to achieve ideal combustion conditions, saving fuel and investment. It can also be used in pressure reduction, micro-pressure, and differential pressure regulation systems for various industrial gases such as coal gas, natural gas, liquefied petroleum gas, ammonia, nitrogen, and oxygen. It can also be used in hydrogen-cooled generator unit sealing oil systems to control the pressure difference between the sealing oil and oxygen to ensure reliable sealing.

  • A self-acting differential pressure valve is a device that automatically regulates the pressure difference between one or two media without the need for external energy, maintaining a constant pressure difference.

A micro-pressure valve can replace a self-acting pressure regulating valve with a positioner when installed upstream of the control valve. When the low-pressure end of the differential pressure valve is open to the atmosphere, it becomes a self-acting differential pressure regulating valve and a self-acting micro-pressure regulating valve.

    Features:

    1. For single-seat micro (differential) pressure valves, if the upstream pressure > 100 KPa, a self-acting device is installed to reduce the pressure to ≤ 100 KPa. Therefore, it can be used in situations with very low pressure (e.g., 0.5 KPa).

    2. The actuator components are extremely sensitive, and very small pressure changes can be detected.

    3. Pressure regulation is extremely convenient; the setpoint can be adjusted without stopping production.
